AFTER: 20 Times Square, the most significant new project entitled in Times Square in 25 years, comprised of +400,000 SF of technology, entertainment, and hospitality hotel, wrapped in an interactive 18,000 SF broadcast-ready 8KLED sign, and 60-year rights to brand and operate an exclusive Digital Network serving Times Square.
Boardman led the internal and external technical teams to articulate the development vision, deliver the entitlement, integrate the technological solutions, complete the base building design and operating strategy of this major mixed-use project and associated operating entities in the North Bow Tie of Times Square. The first new development of this size entitled in Times Square in 25 years, the project integrates technology, entertainment and outdoor broadcast in an offering that is a catalyst for continued growth of one of the most important urban spaces in the world. Its assemblage and design brought vertically integrated media and broadcast technology with the strength of Marriott's operating expertise with the experiential genius of The Ian Schrager Company in launching a 450 key Edition Branded Flagship Hotel.
